FTP
F.T.P File Transfer Protocol or FTP, is a standard network protocol used to transfer computer files from one host to another host over a network. It allows to copy files from a computer to another one of the network, or to delete or modify files on this computer. FTP respects a client-server model, so, one of the two sides, the client, sends some requests whom the other side, called server, reacts. Basically, the server is a computer in which it is installed a software, also called FTP, that makes public a files tree structure, similar to a UNIX files system. In order to connect to a FTP server, it is used a FTP client software (having a graphics interface or in command line).
