Perfect binding is a common method used to bind brochures and book with a big pagination. Unvarnished paper are the most suitable for this binding method because they well absorb the glue, by ensuring a good adhesion.

There are many kinds of glue basing on the employed machine and paper.

The perfect binding process consists in assembling the interior pages of the printout and cutting its spine around three millimeters. Then the glue is applied on the printout spine and the cover is attached on it. This process is often used to bind paperback books with flexible or hardbound cover.
